Authorities on Tuesday released Hurriyat (M) Chairman Mirwaiz Mohammad Umar Farooq from the house detention.
According to a spokesman, Mirwaiz will deliver the sermon at historic Jamia Masjid Srinagar tonight soon after the night prayers at 10 pm.
Mirwaiz was placed under house arrest at his Nigeen residence on Tuesday ahead of his programme to address his yearly sermon in historic Jamia Masjid tonight on eve of the Shab-e-Barat.
