Hurriyat Conference (M) chairperson Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and senior party leader Bilal Gani Lone on Thursday visited the residence of Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front chairman Muhammad Yasin Malik at Maisuma in Srinagar.

Along with a group of party members, Mirwaiz and Lone reached Maisuma and met his sister and mother to inquire about well being of Malik, whose health was earlier deteriorated due to the hunger strike at Tihar jail.

Earlier, Malik was shifted to Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital, in Delhi after his health worsened due to the hunger strike. Malik started his hunger strike against his detention by NIA on April 10, the next day he was shifted to New Delhi and handed over to NIA.
