Miscreants thrashed a group of Kashmiri youth on way from Jammu to Srinagar near Patnitop Udhampur and caused damage to their private vehicle.
A group of youth from Mochho Kralpora area told CNS that they were on way from Jammu to Srinagar when hooligans intercepted their private vehicle (JK01V-4443) near Patnitop and thrashed them.
“I along with my friends Zubair Nabi, Asghar Ali and Mudasir Nisar had a narrow escape when miscreants attacked us for being Kashmiri. We were rescued by a group of Muslims who accompanied us up to Batote,” said Irfan Ahmed Bhat.
The youth added that they managed to flee from the spot even though the miscreants caused “heavy damage” to their vehicle. “We were attacked for being Kashmiri. They hurled choicest abuses and claimed that they will kill every Kashmiri. We were terrified,” they said.
