Jammu and Kashmir Police on Thursday said that two minor students missing from north Kashmir’s Baramulla district have been traced in Delhi.

A police spokesperson in a statement said that Chandussa Police Station received a complaint that two minor boys Mohsin Manzoor Najar, student of 8th class, son of Manzoor Ahmad Najar resident of Bandi Payeen and Suhail Ahmad Lone, student of 10th class, son of Mohammad Sultan Lone resident of Bandi Payeen are reportedly missing from their homes.

“Accordingly, a case FIR No. 06/2019 under relevant sections of law was registered and an investigation was initiated,” said the spokesman.

“During the course of the investigation, it transpired that both the boys were heading towards Jammu. After strenuous efforts and with the assistance of technical support, they were traced near Pahad Gunj New Delhi. Subsequently, Baramulla police contacted local police of the area and the missing boys were recovered. They are presently staying with Coordinator Juvenile Home New Delhi,” he said.

“A team from Baramulla Police is on way to Delhi for facilitating the safe return of boys to home,” said police spokesman in a statement.
