Fahim AsgarBody of three-year-old minor, Faheem Asghar, who went missing from old Srinagar locality of Nowpora Khanyar some days back, was on Tuesday fished out from North Kashmir’s Wullar Lake.

Police sources said that the body of the minor was traced by the locals near the banks of Wullar Lake, near Leharwalpora, 60 km away from his home town.

Parents of the minor have identified the body. However, Faheem’s father Firdous Ahmad argued that his son was scared of going near water bodies, and a “case of murder cannot be ruled out”.

Police had launched a massive search to locate the kid said: “Nothing can be said at this moment. We have started investigation to unearth the facts involved in the case.”

Faheem was missing from his locality since May 6.
