Missing Ganderbal minor recovered by Jammu and Kashmir police

Jammu and Kashmir Police on Thursday recovered a minor boy within hours of the filing of his missing report by his parents in Ganderbal district.

A police spokesperson said that Ghulam Hassan Ganie, a resident of Tehlipora Harran, came to police station Ganderbal on Wednesday stating that his son, Waseem Ahmad, aged 12, was missing since Saturday.

He said a team under the supervision of SSP Ganderbal Fayaz Ahmad Lone and headed by Incharge police station Ganderbal Aakash Kohli after hectic efforts traced the minor within hours from Kangan area of the district.

After completion of legal formalities the body was handed over to his family, the spokesman said.
