Handwara police have recovered two girls who were missing since Oct 24 afternoon, from Ramban district, a police official said.
He said that on the afternoon of October 24, police station Handwara was informed about the missing of two girls Mehvish Mushtaq and Saboora Mushtaq from Bararipora area of Handwara in Kupwara district.
“A missing report was lodged in police station Handwara and police took speedy action to trace out the missing girls. After strenuous efforts the said girls were recovered from Ramban,” police said.
“After completion of all legal formalities the said girls were handed over to her family members,” they added.
