SRINAGAR
A missing mentally unsound woman who was missing since from April 9, 2013, was found dead in Srinagar last evening. A police statement said on Thursday.
Giving details it said that a 30 years old mentally unsound lady Mst Asma Jan wife of Mohammad Shafi Kalas resident of Gool Dashan, Ramban at present Tangan, Pulwama was found at Sumerbugh, Nowgam, Srinagar. She was missing from her home since from April 9.
Srinagar Police has initiated inquest proceedings under section 174 CrPC in this regard.
