SRINAGAR: A missing man was found dead in Dandipora area of Kokernag in Anantang district on Tuesday evening, the official said.
Quoting an official news agency KNO reported that the body was spotted by local residents and informed the police accordingly.
He identified the deceased as Mohd Shafi Awan, a resident of Anantnag district who was missing from the past one week.
Police have registered the case and an investigation is on.
