The dead body of 43-year-old Mohammad Yousuf Khanday son of Ghulam Ahmad Khanday a resident of Shalbugh village of central Kashmir’s Ganderbal who was missing since May 31 was recovered by Kheerbawani police from a Paddy field, police sources said.
Reports said that police was informed by the locals that a dead body is lying in the Paddy fields at Shalabugh Ganderbal, and later a team of police was sent to the spot to recovered the body from the Paddy fields.
The body was sent for the post-mortem and after conducting all legal formalities, it was handed over to his relatives for last rites.
In this regard, police have registered a case and further investigations have been taken up.
