Police on Thursday reunited a boy with his family in Budgam after appeals through social media.
“A minor boy was traced and handed over to his parents by Budgam Police,” said Police spokesman in a statement.
“A minor boy Momin Bashir (6 years old) son of Bashir Ahmad Dhobi resident of Dadikadal Tankipora Shaheed Gunj who had gone missing from his maternal home at Ompora, Budgam was traced out by Budgam Police,” the spokesman said.
Police said: “Later on, he was handed over to his family.”
