SRINAGAR: The meeting of Mutahida Majlis-e-Ulema (MMU), which was scheduled to be held on Monday, April 7, 2025, at Mirwaiz Manzil, Nigeen, to deliberate on the Waqf (Amendment) Bill, has been postponed to Wednesday, April 9, 2025.
“The decision to reschedule the meeting was taken in view of the visit of the Union Home Minister to Kashmir on the same day, due to which there is a possibility that the authorities may not permit the meeting to take place,” reads a statement.
“All members of the MMU are requested to kindly ensure their presence and participate in the important meeting,” reads the statement further.
