Asking state administration not to forget its duties towards common masses, AIP president Er Rasheed has sought immediate redressal of burning issues pertaining to common masses.

While interacting with people during his day-long visit in Kupwara Constituency Er Rasheed alleged that so-called model code of conduct has become an excuse and silly argument to those officers who don’t want to deliver and treat themselves beyond accountability.

Er Rasheed said, “Be it power crises or restoration of drinking water supply and other basic immunities, most of the officers have just one line answer that there is a model code of conduct in place. It is disgusting and shameful that the damaged transformers are lying in PDD workshops since months and concerned authorities don’t pay any heed towards genuine grievances of masses. The functioning of education, health and other prestigious sectors has been kept hostage to the model code of conduct. While there is no model or moral code of conduct for the corrupt Bhabus, even routine files of the common man are being thrown to the dustbin with the excuse that there is a model code of conduct in place.”

Er Rasheed urged the governor to take serious note of sufferings of masses and ensure that all essential services run without any interruptions and excuses.
