SRINAGAR: Jammu and Kashmir Police SSP Mohd Zaid has been posted as Superintendent of Police at the National Investigation Agency (NIA) Branch Office Jammu following his induction into the central probe agency on deputation basis.
According to an office order issued by the NIA on October 6, 2026, the posting has been made consequent upon his joining the agency.
The order stated that Mohd Zaid shall serve as SP, NIA BO Jammu, from the date of his induction into the NIA.
The order was issued with the approval of the Director General, NIA, and was signed by Sreejith T, IPS, Deputy Inspector General (Administration), NIA Headquarters, New Delhi.
The posting follows NIA Headquarters Office Order No. 1822/2026 dated September 29, 2026, regarding his induction into the agency as Superintendent of Police on deputation basis.
