Hailing the courage of the female medico against the state minster for molesting her, Huriyat Conference (G) Chairman Syed Ali Geelani stated that “the people of Kashmir salute the bravery of the female doctor for challenging the corridors of power.”
Geelani after returning from Delhi on Saturday said that “the courage of the doctor which has unmasked the ugly face of the pro-India politicians of the state deserves applause.”
“She has not only saved her chastity but has also shown path to other silent sufferers,” Geelani said.
The senior separatist leader stated that that his amalgam is maintaining close vigil on the case and if administration tries to shield the culprit, its results will be disastrous. “We want the culprit to be hanged. We have seen in the past that the administration acts as a shield to the men involved in the heinous crimes but the same will never be allowed in this case,” he said.
Demanding stern punishment against the Shabir Khan, Geelani said, “The accused should be hanged in Public so that no other person ever dares to touch the modesty of our women.”
