SRINAGAR: Renowned religious Islamic scholar Molvi Ghulam Rasool Shah, passed away at his residence in Nawa Kadal area of Srinagar.
Family sources said he passed away at 7 am today morning at his home.
He was known for his vast Islamic knowledge and has delivered sermons for the last 60 years.
Keeping in view of the covid situation and prevailing present circumstances, no congregational gathering will be observed at home, the family said.
“Mourning will be for only three days,” they said.
