SRINAGAR: A motorcyclist died after a motorcycle he was riding met with an accident in the Mendhar area of Poonch district on Wednesday, officials said.
They said that the accident involving a motorcycle (JK12A-3691) took place at around 4 pm near Dharana Chowk Mendhar. The motorcyclist, Javed Iqbal (44) son of Abdul Hamid of Dharana was initially injured in the accident and was shifted to Sub District Hospital Mendhar for treatment. At around 6:30 hours, they said, the injured succumbed to the injuries.
When contacted, BMO Mendhar Dr Ashfaq Ahmed said the death of the person.(GNS)
