SRINAGAR: The mother of renowned Islamic scholar and rector Darul Uloom Raheemiyyah, Bandipora, Moulana Rehmatullah Mir Qasmi, passed away on Friday at her residence in here.
One of the family members said that Misra Begum passes away today evening after a prolonged illness. He said the funeral prayer will be offered at 10:30 pm at Qadeem Jamia Masjid, Nibripora.
Her death has been widely condoled with many religious and social organisations expressing sympathy with the bereaved family, especially Moulana Rehmatullah Qasmi. (KNO)
