Member Parliament, Nazir Ahmad Laway on Monday announced Rs 10 lakh from his Member Parliament Local Area Development Scheme (MPLADS) to Islamic University of Science and Technology (IUST) Awantipora for development of infrastructure at the School of Business Studies in memory of late Ratandeep Kour, a student of the varsity who was killed in a grenade blast at Tral last Thursday.

The announcement was made by Laway during his meeting with Minister for Works, Naeem Akhtar here today.

He said the IUST authorities will be asked to develop infrastructure at the varsity’s SBS in memory of late Ratandeep alias Pinky who fell victim to the grenade blast in Tral.
