Expressing deep shock and grief over the demise of Amin Kamil the noted Kashmiri poet and writer, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) patron and former chief minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed has said his contribution to the Kashmiri language and literature is noteworthy and the deceased will be remembered for times to come.

In his condolence message, Mufti said Kamil not only gave a new direction to the Kashmiri literature but his novels, plays and musicals added unique flavors in Kashmiri literature.  “I convey my heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family and his countless fans and admirers. I pray for peace of the departed soul,” Mufti has said in his condolence message.
