The Nimaz-i-Jinaza of late Chief Minister, Mufti Mohammad Sayeed, shall be held at Sher-i-Kashmir Cricket Stadium in Srinagar.
Sources said that the state government has decided to hold funeral prayers of Mufti in SK cricket stadium here.
Mufti breathed his last at AIIMS at 7:30 am early Thursday. He was admitted there since December 24.
He is being flown from New Deli in AIF’s C1 30 plane to Srinagar where from his body is being taken to his fair view residence at Gupkar. He will be laid to rest at his ancestral village in South Kashmir’s Bijbehara.
