SRINAGAR: A man who was injured in a stone fall near Shukargah on the Mughal Road in Poonch district on Saturday has succumbed to his injuries in hospital.
Quoting an officials, GNS said that the man was brought to the hospital in critical condition, but despite efforts, he passed away.
“Earlier, a vehicle with registration number JK12 0788 (Alto) was struck by falling rocks near Mughal Road, causing damage to the vehicle. The driver, Salim Ahmad, son of Bashir Ahmad from Radio Station Ward 9, was injured when a large stone rolled down from the nearby mountain and hit the car. He was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment but later succumbed to his injuries,” officials said.
