SRINAGAR: Mughal Road has been temporarily closed for traffic following fresh snowfall at Peer Ki Gali on Saturday. The closure has been enforced as a precautionary measure.
SO Traffic Mughal Road Mahroof Ahmad said that the road, which connects Shopian with the Rajouri and Poonch districts, was closed due to fresh snowfall in the area.
“Traffic movement has been stopped on Mughal Road due to the snowfall. People are advised to avoid travelling on the route until it becomes passable,” he said. (GNS)
