SRINAGAR: The MBZUAI Scholarship Programme 2025 offers a great opportunity for students wishing to enrol in a Master’s or PhD programme in the UAE.
This international scholarship, hosted by the Muhammad Bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence, aims to foster advanced knowledge and skills in artificial intelligence through various programmes.
The fully funded scholarship supports Abu Dhabi’s efforts to develop and sustain an AI-based economy. The deadline to apply for the scholarship is January 15, 2025.
The fields of study include Machine Learning (ML), Computer Vision (CV), and Natural Language Processing (NLP).
The duration of the Master’s degree scholarship is two years, while the PhD scholarship programme lasts four years.
The benefits of the scholarship include free tuition, on-campus student accommodation, health insurance, and UAE visa sponsorship for non-UAE nationals. A monthly stipend is also provided, with amounts varying according to the course.
Eligibility Criteria:
Master’s Programme: Applicants must have a four-year bachelor’s degree or an equivalent degree from a recognised UAE college or university. They must also have a minimum GPA of 3.2 out of 4.0 from an accredited university, and demonstrate a minimum level of English proficiency with one of the following: IBT TOEFL (90 or equivalent), IELTS score of 6.0, or a 1550 EmSAT English score. A Statement of Purpose (800 words) and at least two referee recommendations are also required.
Doctoral Programme: Applicants must have both a bachelor’s and master’s degree with a minimum CGPA of 3.2 out of 4.0. Additionally, they must meet the same English proficiency requirements as the Master’s programme. A Statement of Purpose (800 words), a Comprehensive Research Statement, and at least two referee recommendations are required.
