Around six rounds of funeral prayers were held for a slain militant Majid Ahmed Dar, killed in a gunfight with government forces in Nowshahra- Srigufwara area of Islamabad on Friday.
Reports said that the slain militant was laid to rest around 10: 30 am today at his ancestral graveyard at Talangam village in Pulwama, amid pro-freedom slogans.
Dar was killed along with three associates, during a gunfight in Nowshshra- Srigufwara area of district Islamabad.
Reports said that thousands of mourners from adjoining villages and far-off places had been streaming into the native village of the slain militant to participate in his last rites since Friday evening.
