SRINAGAR: Jammu and Kashmir Police have claimed to solved a murder case by arresting two militants in north Kashmir’s Sopore.
A police spokesman said that police along with 22 RR and CRPF arrested two un-categorized militants of Al-Badr outfit namely Zahid Farooq sheikh son of Farooq Ahmad Sheikh a resident of Idipora Bomai and Shareef-u-din Ahanger son of Ghulam Mohammad Ahanger a resident of Idipora Bomai.
He said that they along with militant Gani Khawaja (Commander Al- Badr) who is at large were involved in the killing of Danish Manzoor Najar @ Ishfaq Ahmad son of Manzoor Ahmad Najar a resident of Idipora Bomai.
“Huge quantity of Arms and Ammunition recovered from them. Case FIR No. 38/2020 dated 6-JUNE-2020 of Police Station Bomie already stands registered and further investigation is in progress in the said case,” said the spokesman.
