Srinagar: The Muslim League Chairman Mushtaq ul Islam has been released from long detention.

League spokesman said he was released on Tuesday, after about nine months of detention.

“Mushtaq was arrested in the beginning of the 2017 and was lodged in various jails including the central jail Srinagar and the Kotbalwal Jail Jammu,” the spokesman said.

A top rebel leader who once led the Hizbullah, set up the Muslim League, a political party after militancy was over.
