Amir Reshi, one among the three youth whose dead body was found in North Kashmir’s Pattan orchard was a mason by profession who had gone missing from his native place Sheva Sopore on July 15 this year.

Ghulam Qadir Reshi the father of the deceased told CNS that his son Amir was not affiliated with any militant or any other organization. “He went missing on July 15 from Sheva Sopore and after two days on July 17 we lodged a missing report in police station Bomai. Both police and we were trying to trace him,” he said.

“The dead bodies of the three youth went viral on Monday morning and I identified my son after checking his photograph on social media networking site,” he said.

The wailing father appealed to police to investigate the matter so that killers will get exposed and hanged. “I have nothing to say. I have lost everything and I fail to understand for what crime my son was murdered,” Reshi said while shouldering the dead body of his son at Baramulla hospital.
