Forces on Saturday night cordoned off the Shumriyal lolab area of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district, following a mysterious loud bang in the forest.
An official said that a loud bang was heard in the forest area of Lolab during intervening night, following which the Shumriyal forest area has been cordoned by 28 RR and SOG Sogam.
As per reports some fire shots have been heard from the jungle area. However, there were no immediate reports of fire exchange with the militants.
