A mysterious fire blaze gutted around 14 Dhokas in the Arai village during the intervening night of Wednesday and Thursday.
Speaking to Kashmir Life, SSP Poonch JS Sing said, “it takes 3-4 hours to reach the actual spot where the Dhokas were gutted in a mysterious blaze and it was not then possible to call the fire and emergency service to dowse the flames immediately.”
“We have registered an FIR in the police station Mandi and have start investigation,” officials added.
“We cannot say how the incident happened as winds were blowing during these two days when the fire erupted in the Arai village and Morha Bachi areas of Poonch. No one was living in those Dhokas and we haven’t received information regarding any deaths or casualties.” SSP added.
