A national level grand essay competition was conducted on December, Sunday at Sri Pratap College in which 500 students from various private and government schools of Kashmir participated.
Competition, the spokesman said was organised at a national level by Islamic Information Centre, Bangalore and in the valley was partnered by Ehsaas International Trust.
Essays were written on topics, modesty & status of women in Islam, Islamic law for drug abuse and addiction, the impact of social media on youth, unity and brotherhood in Islam, respecting elders in Islam.
The results of the competition will be declared on December 23, 2017, wherein top three positions will be prized with Rs. 50,000, Rs 25,000 and Rs 10,000 respectively at national level.
Also, 10 consolation prizes will be offered among participants.
