National Front chairman, Nayeem ahmad Khan was Thursday produced before a court in Srinagar and shifted immediately to Kotbalwal jail again. Khan has been lodged in the said jail after he was slapped by PSA after his arrest on February 8.

A National Front spokesman while condemning the continuous arrest of Nayeem Khan told Kashmir Life that Khan was produced in a Srinagar in connection with a very old case and the court directed the police to produce him once again on May 20. He added that Khan was brought from Kotbalwal during the night and was immediately shifted back.

Nayeem Ahmad Khan spent almost a month in central jail Srinagar after his arrest but later he was shifted to Kotbalwal. Khan had recently alleged that the Kotbalwal jail authorities use “oppressive” means against the Kashmiri prisoners.
