While expressing anguish and anger on Indian Home Minister’s statement about the continuation of AFSPA, separatist leader and National front Chairman Nayeem Ahmad Khan has questioned the Muslim Wakf Board for doing Dastarbandi of Indian Home Minister, Sushil Kumar Shinde at Dargah and Chrar.

“Dargah Hazratbal and Charar-e-Shareef are our centers of faith and the symbols of our religious sentiment, but Wakf Board has injured our sentiments and beliefs by doing Dastarbandi to the Home Minister of that country which is ignoring our just political rights and killing our youth since decades together,” says Khan.

The Separatist leader says that Kashmiris fail to understand whether to “weep on the role of Wakf Board or feel sorry about its existence”. Khan has demanded that the Wakf Chairman, Mohamad Yaseen Qadri and other members of the Board must explain their position as to why ‘Board is not honoring the sentiments of Kashmiri Muslims’.

“Wakf Board must explain that is it for the Dasatrbandi of Indian leaders or it has to work for the up liftment of Kashmiri Muslims,” Khan added.

Home Minister, Shinde was on a three day visit to J&K from October 12.
