National Conference President Dr Farooq Abdullah and Working President Omar Abdullah have expressed profound grief and sorrow over the demise of the mother of Senior NC leader Aga Mehmood. Dr. Farooq and Omar Abdullah while expressing solidarity with Aga Mehmood have prayed for peace to the departed soul.
Dr. Farooq and Omar Abdullah participated in the Nimaaz-e-Jinazah of the deceased. NC President and Working President also spent time with Aga Mehmood and expressed their solidarity with him.
On this occasion a condolence meeting was held at NC Headquarters at Nawa-e-Subah Complex in Srinagar where Senior Party Leaders led by Party General Secretary Ali Mohammad Sagar prayed for peace to the departed soul and expressed their solidarity with Aga Mehmood.
Meanwhile Dr. Farooq and Omar have also expressed grief and sorrow over the demise of former Additional Solicitor General of India, Altaf Ahmed. Paying tributes to the legal luminary, Dr. Farooq Abdullah prayed for peace to the departed soul and extended his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family.
