Hurriyat Conference (G) has termed Pulwama aftermath statement of National Conference (NC) as ridiculous, deceptive and vote bank politics and said that it was national conference which has appreciated and received them as blissful birds (TIRAN ABABEEL) .
“National Conference president Farooq Abdullah had defended their war crimes at Geneva and other international forums. NC is least interested for the lives and dignity of the people instead they have opted to maintain peace by dint of power and they do this because of their apprehensions about 2010 like peoples uprising,” said Hurriyat (G) in its statement issued on Tuesday.
“Recent statement of NC is a pack of contradictions,” and added that “statement on one hand has mentioned the Pathribal and Machil incidents and the same statement has exaggerated while admiring the forces,” the statement added.
Referring to the statement, spokesman has marked that NC has made tall claims regarding the admirable feats exhibited by the forces.
Taking dig at NC, Hurriyat said that NC leadership is fully aware that they share power with the blessings of the men in uniform and without their backing they cannot resist the peoples uprising and their existence will be nowhere.
NC has played a pivotal role to welcome them in Kashmir and party has pleaded its occupant role in Jammu and Kashmir,” and added that “in spite its preference to stick to power, it was rather better for them to share with the people after the episodes of hundreds of Machil like incidents. But it has made its top priority to remain with forces.”
“NC is working to authenticate the occupation of India and works as a tool for its confirmation,” the statement added.
Hurriyat Conference in its statement has made it clear that now the word scenario has changed and there is no space for double standard and hypocrisy in politics.
“Present generation is Dot Com generation and mere crocodile tears or deceptive politics won’t deliver any more. The nation is fully aware about you and there is no doubt that your existence is only due to the authority ,state police and armed forces,” read the statement.
“Omar Abdullah is the head of the Joint Command Council and army is one of its constituents there by it sounds ridiculous to submit appeal to Sonia Gandhi and Manmohan Singh,” it added.
Reiterating its stand, Hurriyat said that it is better for NC to forget about the power they share and join the peoples demand for complete withdrawal of armed forces from Jammu and Kashmir and added, “we affirm that until the last trooper leaves the Kashmir, the Pulwama like tragedies will occur and nobody will dare to enquire about.”
