SRINAGAR: National Conference members of parliament Dr Farooq Abdullah and Husnain Masoodi have protested against the fake encounter and custodial death in Kashmir, according to a tweet that the party has put on its official twitter handle. The protest seemingly has taken place outside the parliament, probably on the weekend.

The two MPs with their mouths covered and masked are sitting in front of the statue of Mahatma Gandhi. Husanian is carrying the photographs of the three Rajopuri youth who were allegedly killed in a fake encounter in Shopian. Dr Abdullah is carrying a photograph of a young man, most probably that of the Sopore youth Irfan Ahmad Dar. This is Dar’s first high definition photograph that is now in the public domain. Police did not return either of the four bodies to their families so far.

Reports said that the NC is seeking a debate in the parliament but has not been successful so far. They have, however, raised the issue of 4G, talks with Pakistan and custodial deaths and the fake encounter case in the parliament in the last three days.
