Jammu and Kashmir National Conference President Dr Farooq Abdullah on Monday paid glowing tributes to Moulana Mirwaiz Muhammad Farooq on his 29th death anniversary.
In his message, Dr Farooq said, “Late Mirwaiz was known for his literary endowments and social service. The traditional role played by the Mirwaiz family in the field of education and social service is commendable. Late Mirwaiz throughout his life made earnest efforts to forge unity among Muslim Ummah. Late Mirwaiz Muhammad Farooq throughout his life devotedly rendered his services for up gradation of Islamia School. On this day I pay glowing tributes to him.”
Meanwhile party general secretary Ex- MLA Khanyar Haji Ali Muhammad Sagar, Senior leader Abdul Rahim Rather, Choudhary Muhammad Ramzan, Sharief Ud Din Shariq, Mubarak Gul, District president Peer Afaq, also paid glowing tributes to Late Mirwaiz Muhammad Farooq on his death anniversary.
