NC-PDP working against interests of Kashmiri people: Bajad

KL Report

NC and PDP are working against the interests of the People of Kashmir and are hell bent upon to inflict miseries on the people just to grab power. This was stated by Salamauddin Bajad, People’s Conference nominee for Baramullah constituency on completing his three days tour to Karnah.

According to statement issued to KNS, he went on to say that it is a high time for people to decide resolutely to show doors to those vested interests who abuse the memory and intelligence of the innocent people by resorting to all unfair means of irresponsible rhetoric and fallacy.

Both NC and PDP try to overtake each other in demonstrating their faith and fidelity to their masters and while doing so forget a common Kashmiri and his sufferings. The lust for power and wealth has made them blind and deaf and they are not willing to listen to the people. Vote is an opportunity for the people who get this once in 5 or 6 years for them to choose their representative who can speak on their behalf and facilitate in resolving their issues. The under-performance of both NC and PDP in and outside the parliament is known to everyone and it is hard to differentiate between the two as both of them have failed in their respective regimes to raise the issues of public interest.

“I humbly appeal to people to show their power through their vote and silence the brute forces by using the right option on the day of voting. Failure to do so will be a failure of opportunity that would enable the cruel to sway to ransack us of our values and our standing agenda of progress and prosperity.”

Meanwhile Adv Bashir Ahmad Dar, People’s Conference District president for Kupwara toured  Zonreshi, Rashanpora, Shimnag, Kralpora and many other areas of the Kupwara constituency. He castigated the government for the shortage of rice, erratic power supply and dilapidated roads in the area and appealed the administration to take instant measures to redress of grievances of the people of the area.
