National Conference (NC) candidate for Pulwama assembly segment Ghulam Nabi Ratinpuri was injured Wednesday when angry protesters attacked his cavalcade with stones at Ranzipora village of the district.
Sources said that Ratinpuri sustained minor injuries and was shifted to Bone and Joint Hospital Srinagar.
They said that Ratinpuri was leading a road show when his vehicle came under stone pelting.
Meanwhile, police have registered a case in this regard and the identification of those involved in the stone pelting is being ascertained.
