Police Saturday arrested a foreigner when he was leaving for New Delhi at Srinagar International Airport. A police official who identified the arrested foreigner as Jim Borst from Neatherland told CNS that the permit and Visa of the Borst had expired in 2014 and he was illegally staying in Kashmir.

“Borst was arrested when he was about to board an airplane at Srinagar International Airport along with a lady,” the police official said.

Sources said that Borst is in touch with different Missionary Schools of Kashmir and his name had surfaced when a video showing some of the locals embracing Christianity had gone viral in Kashmir.
