The new eligibility cut-off date for the exam is August 15, superseding the earlier scheduled date of March 3. The rescheduling comes in response to the NMC letter dated January 3, 2024, and supersedes the NBEMS notice dated 09.11.2023.

Following the recently introduced “Post-Graduate Medical Education Regulations, 2023,” the NEET-PG exam will persist until the proposed National Exit Test (NExT) becomes operational for PG admission. The NEET-PG serves as the sole entrance examination for MD/MS and PG diploma courses under the National Medical Commission Act, 2019.
