The new elected body of Federation Chamber of Industries Kashmir (FCIK) led by its President Muhammad Ashraf Mir Friday called on Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah and discussed various issues pertaining to development of industries and trade in the State.

The Chief Minister said that his government has flagged development of industries and commerce as a thrust area and various initiatives are in place to encourage MSME and local industrialists to invest in various feasible sectors and be partners in the growth and development of the State besides substantiating government’s efforts of expanding job opportunities for youth.

The Minister of State for Industries and Commerce, Sajjad Ahmad Kitchloo was also present in the meeting.
