SRINAGAR: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has appealed to tourists, visitors, and locals who may have any information, photographs, or videos related to the Pahalgam terror attack to contact the agency immediately.
In a statement, the agency said it has already collected a significant number of photographs and videos showing various aspects of the attack and is examining them in detail.
“It has now decided to scale up efforts to ensure that no useful information or evidence is overlooked in the investigation into this crime against humanity,” the statement said.
The NIA urged anyone with relevant inputs to call on mobile number 9654958816 or landline 011-24368800, and share their personal details along with the nature of the information or material they wish to provide.
“A senior NIA official will contact the caller and arrange for the information, photographs, or videos to be shared,” the agency added.
The NIA stated it is examining all such material in detail to identify possible clues related to the attackers and their modus operandi. “Tourists and others may have, knowingly or unknowingly, seen, heard, or recorded something that could assist in uncovering the conspiracy behind the targeted attack on tourists in Kashmir,” the statement said.
The agency noted that several photos and videos have circulated on social media following the attack, which killed 26 tourists and injured several others on April 22, 2025.
NIA teams have been stationed in Pahalgam to inspect the attack site and question witnesses. The agency said it will closely analyse all available material, including any shared by those who were in the area on or before the day of the incident.
