Srinagar

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Wednesday conducted fresh raids and searches at 11 locations in Srinagar and 5 in New Delhi in connection with its ongoing probe into the alleged terror funding case.

The probe agency is currently conducting raids at nine locations in Srinagar and two in Delhi, sources said.

Earlier, the NIA had arrested seven pro-freedom leaders.

The agency had claimed that the accused were “waging war” against the country and were involved in various offences punishable under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act.

Kashmiri businessman Zahoor Watali was also arrested and sent to NIA custody by a court.
