The National Investigation Agency (NIA) court on Wednesday sent Syed Shahid Yousuf to seven days remand in a “terror funding case”.
Reports said that Shahid, the son of United Jehad Council supreme commander, Syed Salahuddin was sent to the remand by the NIA court early today. Shahid was arrested by NIA in New Delhi on Tuesday.
Shahid was summoned by the probe agency to Delhi in connection with the investigation in the alleged funding case where he was arrested.
Shahid works in the horticulture department of the Jammu and Kashmir government.
