SRINAGAR: Delhi Police has detained four students for questioning from Kargil in connection with the Israel Embassy blast that happened in January this year, a report by News 18 stated.
“They are in the (Delhi Police) custody,” News 18 quoted an official as saying.
National Investigation Agency (NIA) had earlier released CCTV footage of two suspects and also announced a cash award of Rs 10 Lakh for the identification and arrest of the suspects.
NIA is likely to seek custody of the four students. Their role in the case is yet to be ascertained; News 18 quoted sources as saying.
Meanwhile, Deputy Commissioner Kargil Santosh Sukhadeve said that he has no information about the arrest.
SP Kargil Anatay Ali Choudhary was unavailable for comment on the matter.
