SRINAGAR: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) sleuths on Wednesday morning carried out the searches at many places in central Kashmir’s Srinagar district.
The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Wednesday carried out raids in Srinagar including the office of leading daily newspaper Greater Kashmir.
Reports said that multiple raids were carried out at the office of daily newspaper Greater Kashmir in Press enclave Srinagar, house of Human rights activist Khurram Parvaiz, H.B Holton houseboat in Nehru park and dialysis center of NGO Authrot in Nawakadal in Srinagar.
The NIA sleuths were accompanied by Central Armed Police Force and J&K Police personnel.
Reports said that NIA also raided the residential house of a Hurriyat activist in Brar village of north Kashmir’s Bandipora district.
They said that NIA conducted a raid on the residential house of some Mohammad Yousuf Sofi @ Salman son of Abdul Rashid Sofi, resident of Brar village.
