SRINAGAR: The National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) Srinagar invites applications for Group B posts on a short-term contractual basis for six months.
The available posts at NIFT include Research Assistant (3 posts), Assistant Director (1 post), Senior Assistant – Finance and Accounts (1 post), and Junior Engineer – Electrical (1 post).
Candidates applying for the post of Assistant Director should have rendered at least five years of service in level six or above with relevant experience in purchase procedures, establishment, administrative, or admission matters.
Candidates applying for the post of Research Assistant must have a Bachelor’s or a Master’s degree from a recognised University in a relevant field with significant experience in academic administration.
Candidates applying for the post of Junior Engineer – Electrical must have a Bachelor’s degree or a Diploma in Electrical Engineering with experience in installing and maintaining underground cable systems.
Candidates applying for the post of Senior Assistant for Finance and Accounts must have a Post Graduate degree in Commerce, ICWA, CA, or CS with two years of experience in finance and accounts matters.
Applicants must be citizens of India. The documents required for submission include a CV/resume, academic transcripts, experience certificates, and a Demand Draft of 500 INR in favour of NIFT Srinagar.
The remuneration for different posts varies: 40,000-45,000 INR for the Research Assistant, Senior Assistant, and Junior Engineer, and 50,000-55,000 INR for the Assistant Director.
Eligible candidates are required to submit a hard copy of the application form, along with other related documents, by hand or speed post to the NIFT campus at SIDCO Complex, Ompura Budgam by or before July 7, 2024.
