Srinagar
Night temperatures improved throughout Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday due to partial cloud cover.
Officials at the MeT department said that the present dry weather is likely to continue till Saturday or Sunday.
They said the minimum temperature in both Srinagar and Jammu showed improvement on Wednesday over Tuesday as Srinagar recorded 1.3 degrees against a minus 1.9 and Jammu recorded 11.0 against 9.1.
Leh town in Ladakh region recorded minus 3.7 as the minimum temperature against Tuesday’s minus 7.3 while Kargil recorded a minus 4.0 against a minus 6.4.
Among other places in the valley, Pahalgam recorded minus 1.2 and Gulmarg minus 4.0 as the minimum temperatures.
