SRINAGAR: At least nine persons were injured after stray dogs attacked them in Uri area of North Kashmir’s Baramulla district this evening.

Reports said that nine people were injured after being attacked by a pack of stray dogs in Uri area of Baramulla.

The injured people were shifted to Sub District Hospital (SDH) Uri where they are being treated, they said.

Meanwhile, a health official while confirming the incident said one among the nine have been referred to GMC Baramulla for advanced treatment.

Meanwhile, SDM Uri Harvinder Singh told news agency KNS that a team comprising Municipality and Veterinary will be sent to the areas to sterilize the dogs.
